Dr. Rachel Stricker holds a Doctorate of Naturopathic Medicine from Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine (SCNM) in Tempe, Arizona. She is licensed to practice primary care medicine in the State of Oregon and remote consultations outside of Oregon. Dr. Stricker also has a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and Gender and Diversity Studies from Xavier University in Cincinnati, Ohio, and is a certified yoga instructor. Dr. Stricker has been the owner and operator of Illumination Wellness since 2014.
As a naturopathic physician, Dr. Stricker offers restorative and functional medicine with a focus on preventative health and wellness. Through lifestyle modifications, such as addressing nutrition, stress and habitual patterns, she uncovers the root cause of dis-ease. Dr. Stricker guides patients through customized treatment plans, utilizing safe and effective natural and modern medicine. She offers patients an intimate and nurturing experience where you can rest assured you will be thoroughly listened to and invited to play an active role in your care.
Dr. Stricker is an active member of the Eugene community, enjoying the local music scene, foodie culture, farmer’s markets and abundant outdoor recreational opportunities. Dr. Stricker loves to cook (the family cook is the family doctor!), create, explore, travel and spend time with her husband, sons and dogs. She is a long-time yoga practitioner and yoga instructor and currently teaches at Wild Light Yoga and Everyday People Yoga.
